Our vision has been open minded since our inception – we want you to be able to train whenever you want with whoever you want. Whether you’re a beginner, a hobbyist, or an experienced practitioner, we offer a supportive, challenging environment to grow your skills, push your limits, and become the best version of yourself on and off the mats. The more people who are on the mat the merrier the time we will have.

Club history
Sub Club Grappling began in 2018 as a casual way for a few friends to get in some extra sparring – and quickly grew into something much bigger. The name “Sub Club,” inspired by the cult classic Fight Club and rooted in the spirit of fun, reflects both the club’s relaxed origins and its focus on submission grappling.
As interest and membership grew, so did the opportunity to take things to the next level. We’re proud to have officially launched as Winchester’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu club, now based in the elite facility at Winchester College – an exceptional facility that matches our ambition and passion for the sport.
Club lineage
Sub Club Grappling is proud to be part of the UK Bitetti Team. Our head instructor, Dan, is a black belt under Roberto Almeida – Head of the UK Bitetti Team – who himself earned his black belt from the legendary Amaury Bitetti. This strong lineage connects us to some of the most respected names in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and we take great pride in the legacy that shapes our approach to training, teaching, and growth on the mats.
